Time out of sync (ClockSync method)
« on: August 30, 2013, 12:58:18 AM »
If you have time-sync issues you can try a app called ClockSync (Tested version: 1.2.0):

*DST = Daylight Saving Time / Summer Time

For countries with NO DST, read section A
For countries with DST (Needs 2 apps to function), read section B

=====================================
A) For countries with NO DST
=====================================
- Install "ClockSync"
- Go to Menu > Settings within ClockSync
  - Automatic Synchronization (Enable it)
  - set "Interval" to 15 mins
  - Override system settings (Enable it)
  - set "UTC offset" to your timezone
  - Sync On Boot (Enable It)

=====================================
B) For countries with DST (Needs 2 apps to function)
=====================================
- Install "TimeZoneDB for ClockSync"  (Only works in combination with ClockSync 1.1.6 or later)
- Install "ClockSync"
- Go to Menu > Settings within ClockSync
  - Enable automatic synchronization
  - set "Interval" to 15 mins
  - Use Offline Database
  - Select your time zone
  - Sync On Boot (Enable It)

Timezones are displayed like this: Continent/City.
For example: Europe/Amsterdam

Note: It may take a minute for ClockSync to sync your time
