As far as we know, Android Market app requires other infrastructure files to be able to run. Those infrastructure files and the market app itself are only licensed to large phone manufactures. So while we believe that technically YouWave has the ability to run Android Market, we do not support running Market on YouWave platform. But we know from other sources that some users of YouWave are attempting this possibility on their own.

Android Market is working like a charm Smiley
Just got the latest gapps-package from CyanogenMod7 (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Latest_Version/Google_Apps)
and grabbed all of the apks from the system\app folder (inside the gapps-zip) and placed them in my YouWave apps folder
Then I ran them all on YouWave by clicking on them in the left pane.
After that I couldn't login with my googleaccount straight away, but at least the option was back and no crashes at all.
I think the login tool of the google account doesn't like the ethernet-connection (needs WIFI it says and can't get connection)....

After that (what obviously was not working) I went to the dev-tools (just check your apps in YouWave Android for it) and opened the Account Tester.
I then added my google account (with the add button) and it logged in straight away Smiley
Next I grabbed a android market apk (searched it on google, enough people share it on sites).
And placed it in the YouWave apps apk-folder again, opened/installed it, and Android Market worked straight away.

Check the screenshot i made of it running Smiley

Gmail is also working, but some other apps from the Market will not run (it will tell you it can't be installed on your version of android).
Have fun, if you don't already knew this Smiley
[EDIT 29/1/2012: YouTube can't be downloaded from Android Market, WordFeud can, though ^^]

Greets,

N*Droid

The Best thing about Android apps market is that before approving it into the market for sales , It insist user's to use and evaluate the performance of the apps. It has completely open market.

On YouWave sidebar, click on "View", then on "Online Content", then on "Android Market".
Follow the installation process, post a comment if you need further help.
