Selecting Images

i use youwave 2.1.2 and i cannot select any 1 image. I have different folders and when i click on the image it just loads the gallery again. I cannot go inside a folder and select an image to share on whatsapp. When i hold the click all images in the folder get selected. is there any other way i could select a image

yes, there is another way... if you got Dropbox or Astro Manager

- Open dropbox from within YouWave
- Find your file
- Then click and hold the file... until a menu pops up
- Share....  >  Share this file > WhatsApp

You can also use Astro File Manager in the same way
Just click and hold the file

it shares a link to the file and not the file itself.

oke seems somethings have changed in the new Dropbox App, my youwave application isn't properly configured to give you a step-by-step list of what you need to do, but I can tell you this... All Dropbox files are online, so you have to download the media file to the virtual SD card first

Than via Astro Manager you can share the actual file, by clicking and holding it... (This feature should also be available in DropBox itself)
But as I said I'm unable to go thru all the steps myself, but this is basically what you need to do...

ok now i can share images without posting links.

But still to select group icon on whatsapp i have to select from the gallery and i cannot select a single image

just find an app which works inside Youwave and can replace the rubbish photo gallery

For using DropBox to transfer images from outside YouWave
1. upload the image to DropBox
2. open DropBox in YouWave
3. find the image, left click mouse and hold, there is a menu come out
4. select export, then WhatsApp, then the receiving person

If download SDCard, it will end up with 2 copies of the image in YouWave.

Selecting multiple images from Digital Camera in native size dont work as expected. The images are beeing cropped to 8x6inches.
However when I select only one image from the digital camera in native size, it dont crop the picture.

how to solve this?
