Hmm. There is some data in the virtual SD card that Android does not like, causing the exception. I am afraid that you need to reinstall YouWave to get rid of it.

Sorry for the inconvenience. When you close YouWave, did you choose "Shutdown" or "Hibernate"?

This happens to me, do often (well, I am throwing a lot of questionable apks at Youwave), that I now backup the image, before I make each change.

Simply make a copy of: C:\Users\username\.Virtualbox\HardDisks\youwave_vm01.vdi (note that this is the Win7 path - yours may differ, for older Wins).

Then, if/when I get any of the several "stopped working" errors (or other instability), I simply overwrite "youwave_vm01.vdi" with "youwave_vm01 - Copy.vdi" (or whatever last stable image copy was named), and I throw away the apk that caused the problem...

Just something I would like to share is the simplicity of environment variables
that will work on any PC... no need to worry about username & windows version:

Paste this in adress bar:
%USERPROFILE%\.Virtualbox\HardDisks

The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please retry again.

Oke I did quit and start the emulator several times before this happend (I was not really in the mood for whatsapp)...
At first it started with whatsapp not being able to refresh the contacts (@ the last run)... it kept crashing with another forced close error message of whatsapp self...

I then restarted the emulator (via shutdown) and got the acore error message.... which I couldn't get rid off...
Forcing whatsapp to close, clear data & uninstalling - All did not work.

==============================
WORKAROUND:
==============================

- Copy & Paste this in the address bar of a open directory:
%USERPROFILE%\.Virtualbox\HardDisks

- Delete (or rename) youwave_vm01.vdi
- make a copy of youwave_vm01_golden.vdi and rename it to youwave_vm01.vdi

That's how I solved it,

Hmm. This removes all the data in Android. Let's see whether there is a less drastic workaround.

wow.. I just read this few minute after I re-installed (for 2nd time) Youwave.
is it some kind of 'resetting' Youwave into default configuration? I mean, as if Youwave before I install applications i.e WhatsApp?
however, I should try this one if I got 'force close problems' again Cheesy
