Whatsapp issue

I downloaded Youwave 2.2.1 today and installed it.

I went to whatsapp.com to download the app but the webpage read something like do not have permission to open this page.

I have not had this issue before. Can someone help?

When you hit the download link "You do not have permission to open this page. market://details?id=com.whatsapp" appears?

I believe that's because WhatsApp has disabled all direct download links... It seems to redirect itself to Android Market (now: Google Play)
With Google Play unable to run on YouWave (at least not without some tweaking)... This means you have to divert for alternative download sources...
Use a search engine like Google and search for "WhatsApp APK" and use the dropbox or sidepanel procedure to import the APK into YouWave...

This reminds me off a earlier feature request:

Thank you very much, the workaround worked for me. I don't understand why youwave would disable direct downloads now.

You mentioned that to get the android market or google play to work there is some sort of tweeking needed...is this related to downloading the googleframework.apk and vendor.apk post?

I have to correct you on that one... YouWave didn't disable the direct download, it was WhatsApp.
Maybe they don't like the idea of people using WhatsApp on PC, whatever the reason it was their decission.

And the required tweaking is indeed related to that post you mentioned...

I just found out another way you can download apps of the market... without tweaking YouWave...

The download link at http://www.whatsapp.com/android/ works perfectly fine.
