hi

i have you wave installed inside a windows xp sp3 virtualbox.
youwave installs and runs without giving any errors but i have no android window on the right hand side, it just shows my windows background.

i also cannot run any apps, i just the android os not ready message.

i have added youwave to the windows firewall and then disabled the firewall completely.

any help would be appreciated.

Some people have successfully run YouWave INSIDE virtualbox.

Are you giving enough memory to the VM?

hi,

yea the vm has over 4gb of ram allocated to it and 2 processors.

Ippi, are you using Windows 7 x64 as your host machine? I mention this because when I tried that exact same thing it did not work when using Win 7 x64. Youwave shows with nothing on the right side, like it's see-through and you can see the desktop. When I used another computer with Win 7 x86 it worked fine in Virtualbox. Needless to say, even if it doesn't work properly in Virtualbox, it'll work fine if you install it on the host machine.

Hi everyone,
I have the same Ippi's problem with the same OS (Windows Xp professional sp3): I tried to solve it by uninstalling Youwave, manually deleting files and folders, cleaning system registry, installing it again and opening firewall to Youwave but it doesn't work..

In the right-side of the window I don't see the android home but there is only a black screen..

I have v. 2.2.2, is it a beta?
Do I have to wait for a new version which fixes this problem or Youwave doesn't work with Xp?

   Your problem is more like running out of memory. What is your system memory size? And can you check the virtualbox log file under <user id>/.Virtualbox/Machines/youwave_vm01/logs/vbox.log?
