Is there a way to save all the contacts. Everytime I (re)install youwave I loose them all.
Regards,
Martijn
Hi Martijn, yes, you can backup your contacts. First you'd need to follow the instructions in this post for installing Dropbox:
http://youwave.com/forum/index.php?topic=2154.0 Second, click on the green phone icon that is in the Youwave main screen (home) and then click on the "Contacts" menu that is on top; you can also open the "Contacts" from the main app screen. Once you are in "Contacts", press "
Menu" and then "
Import/Export"; then you click on "
Export to SD Card". This will save a file in MNT/SDCARD/ named "0001.vcf". You can then upload that file to a Dropbox folder and keep it safe on your computer.
If you ever need to recover your contacts, you can copy this file back to Youwave, it doesn't matter where as long as it is in some folder in MNT/SDCARD, and then you repeat the same process mentioned above, except that this time you press "
Import from SDcard. Youwave will search for the 0001.vcf file you downloaded and update your contacts automatically.
If you haven't already, you might want to consider installing a file manager app like AndExplorer or Astro Manager.
