This sounds like a bug. But we cannot reproduce the problem. Once an app is uninstalled, we do not see it coming back. Can you let us know the names of the apps that you have trouble uninstalling?

Hi, I've had this problem too. Still have it actually, and the only way to get rid of them is to reinstall, or restore the VDI file, which I haven't done because I don't want to have to reinstall all my apps and settings again. I can't get rid of these apps:

.- Firefox Beta
.- Little photo
.- Picsay Pro
.- Quick Pic

I'm pretty sure it's because all these apps have native ARM code. When installing you get the error message saying they have native ARM code, but the progress bar keeps going and installs the program, yet the program is not functional. You can uninstall them, and when you restart, they'll still be there.

Thank you very much for letting us know this problem. In the latest release 2.2.1, we have now blocked installing ARM based apps. So this problem will go away.

Please add a new release note to the blog... I didn't get what 2.2.1 was about until I read this thread

http://youwave.com/releases.html. Maybe we should add more prominent links to this page?

Hi

new here, new to YouWave...

same issue here, I've tried to unistall various apps like MaxThon, 1MobileMe, 1MobileMarket, What's app or Appstore (Amazon) and every time I relaunch YouWav they're back... Sad

Amazon Appstore is particularly useless for non USresidents cause you can't download anything because of geographic limitations/restrictions or whatever , pffff

hypermoot,

which version of YouWave you are using? We know this was an issue for older releases, but we are not aware of such issue in the latest 2.2.2 version.

It's still a problem in Youwave 2.2.1. I uninstalled some Apps the other day, and after restarting Youwave they were back, but not functional...
