We have released our new version 2.2.0. It has to support for several international keyboard layouts. Namely, they are:
American, Arabic(testing), Finnish, French ,German,Ireland,Japanese,Russian,Spanish(Latin America),Swedish,UK.
The Arabic keyboard layout is still under test. We need your comments.
By default, the layout is American English. To change the keyboard layout, following these steps:
1. Settings -> Language & keyboard -> Keyboard layout setting -> Select one.
2. Click “Back” a few times to return to Home
3. Close YouWave by shutting down Android.
4. Restart YouWave. Now you should have a new keyboard layout.
This is a new feature so we welcome your feedback.
Future works:
a) Able to auto-detect your physical keyboard layout and set it automatically.
b) Eliminate the need to shutdown and restart YouWave.
b) Support more varieties.

We cannot give a definite date, but it is under work.
Just a simple poll: may we know for what purpose you need ICS in YouWave?

Gingerbread is awesome but ics is the boom and some apps are only compatible with that version... but gingerbread on youwave is so perfect   |

The Arabic beta went wrong, this language will be fixed in YouWave ICS

Do:
su
cat /sdcard/Id
Also, please note that "Id" is case sensitive.

I got it by accessing dev tools then terminal emulator.
here is another question : Shall I overwrite existing version or I need to uninstall it first.

hi, i just purchased and installed youwave - unfortunately the german keyboard layout doesn't work properly. i've set global language to german, aswell as the keyboard layout. keys i'm pressing and what i'm getting: (i've grouped the keys by key + shift+key, in case of 3 values it means altgr+key) z -> y Z -> Y -------- ä -> ä (corrent) Ä -> Ä (correct) -------- ö -> ^ Ö -> ° -------- ü -> ö Ü -> Ö -------- ß -> ü ? -> Ü \ -> ü -------- < and > -> not working at all -------- - -> ß _ -> ? -------- # -> - ' -> _ -------- + -> ´ * -> ` ~ -> ´ -------- ´ -> + ` -> * -------- ^ -> # ° -> ' -------- number keys from 1-0 (on top of keyboard): are working properly except some keys in conjunction with altgr: 7 -> should return { 8 -> should return [ 9 -> should return ] 0 -> should return } that's it - please fix it and i'll be very happy!! ) thanks |

Good day everyone.
I have seen new version 2.2.3 is release and available for download, my question is : "I experienced difficulties upgrading from previous version to version 2.1.2 regarding reg key"
Please guide me what to do before start upgrade, also My android is not yet upgraded to new ( I can not remember exact name "ice cream ......"
