Hi,

We understand the frustration. To help you solve this problem, can you please describe what you steps you have done after you installed YouWave and WhatsApp? Did you import your contacts manually and from a file?

YouWave Support

In fact, my dear admin... it's happening again, I'm still using 2.2.3 and I just added my contacts through the dial (+[Numbers] -> Menu -> Add to the contact list).
Is there a solution/fix?

Edit: Added some screens...

1st error at YouWave's start.

2nd error at YouWave's Start.

This is as far as I can go when I open WhatsApp. Force Close and the app is closed.

Edit: It happened again with WhatsApp uninstalled.
3  General Category / Technical Issues and Support / Re: Can't change keyboard language on: June 11, 2012, 08:05:14 PM
It happens since 2.2.2 I think.

Try the following:

1) Start YouWave.
2) Change Keyboard Layout.
3) Close YouWave.
4) Start YouWave again.

If it's still with the layout problem, re-install the application... or start from zero again:

1) Go to %USERPROFILE%/.VirtualBox/HardDisks/
2) Delete "youwave_vm01.vdi"
3) Copy "youwave_vm01_golden.vdi" and Paste it in the same folder.
4) The "youwave_vm01_golden.vdi" copy rename it to "youwave_vm01.vdi".

That's how you do a fresh start in YW.
Good luck.

You're welcome Smiley

Backup THE SD CARD (%USERPROFILE%\.Virtualbox\HardDisks\youwave_vm01.vdi) and you won't lose anything.

1) Copy the file mentioned before.
2) Paste it in your documents folder, I don't know... wherever you can find it later.
3) Uninstall YouWave.
4) Install it again.
5) Copy youwave_vm01.vdi and paste it into %USERPROFILE%\.Virtualbox\HardDisks\.
6) Replace the existing file.
7) Start YouWave.

1) Left Window -> View -> Online Content -> Install "Android Market"
2) Configure it with your google account.
3) Download Apps from the market. Also, as an advice, you should install "1Mobile" from the left window. More reliable than the Android Market/Google Play.

As an alternative, you can do the following:

1) Get Google Chrome on your PC/Laptop.
2) Get the APK Downloader for Chrome.
3) Follow the instructions in the APK Downloader website.
4) Enter to Google Play.
5) Download anything you want (unless it's paid and you have not paid for it).

What version of WhatsApp are you using?
Do the other apps that use Internet work?

Just as the title says.
Just a double-click (single click on some systems) and the app gets installed in YouWave.
Is it possible soon? ;3

Something very cool I found when I used the competitor's software (*dun dun duuuun*) was the resizable window.
The apps could run as in a vertical Phone, an horizontal Phone or Tablet.
Also you could maximize the window and run it (almost) in fullscreen with Tablet size. That was PERFECT for games, I must say.

But if you ask me... I'm ok with the size of YouWave Smiley

I wonder if you know the meaning of Installation...
Quote
Installation:
1a. The act of installing.
1b. The state of being installed. Also called installment.

Well... I won't argue with you.
I'm not in the mood.
Good luck, then.

The older versions of this app stopped working.
They're asking for the newest update and I must say, it works perfectly.

hi all,
I'm from david and recently signed up to learn and follow the forum like most of other! Can i use it for free with my internet connection or ill have troubles  with  the company or with nokia for my mobile number?
sorry for my english
A ver, David.

Cualquier cosa, no olvides escribir acá.
Un abrazo a la distancia, David.

Spitfire.

15  General Category / Suggestions and Feedback / Re: Minimize to Tray on: May 13, 2012, 05:49:31 AM
I really love the idea of a notification when an app gets activity,
Even a simple highlight of the youwave programme icon like on windows 7 ->
I'm a WinXP user so... getting that notification wouldn't be a great change to me.
But something I loved from mIRC (yeah, OOOOOOOOLD TIMES of the Internet) was the tray icon.
When the app had activity, the icon started to blink in the taskbar and you can't miss something that's blinking. That's for sure.
I'm pretty organized in my laptop so if I could minimize the app to the tray, it'd be a something beautiful.
